In Bookji, users can create various types of posts that can be seen by others in their classes and school.
You can disable posting in Bookji at a class or individual level.
To disable posting at the class level, go to My School > School Classes, or My School > My Classes and click the Edit icon for the class you wish to apply the restriction to. This will open the following dialog:
Then click on the 'Permissions' tab. Here, you will see two permissions, 'Create Posts' and 'Create Messages.'
Under the Create Posts heading there are a set of checkboxes that correspond to the various types of posts that can be created. Check those that you want enabled. If you uncheck all post types the class will not be able to create any posts.
To set the posting permissions at an individual user level, go to any of the following:
Then click on the pencil icon for the desired user, which will open the Edit User dialog. Click on the 'User Permissions' tab.
This dialog is similar to the Edit Class > Class Permissions in that the same two (2) permissions are listed, 'Create Posts' and 'Create Messages.'
To set the permissions for posting at the individual-level, check the desired types of posts that you want to allow for the individual. Note that permissions set at the individual-level take precedence over permissions set at the class-level.
For users where no types of posts where checked, they will not see the Create Post widget, displayed below, on any page that allows posting. However, they can perform other actions on posts, like reacting to posts, and sending the post to a friend.
