Google Single Sign On (SSO)

In Bookji, users can sign in using Google Single Sign On (SSO). What does this mean? Well, it means that your educators and students don't need to remember or have a separate password for Bookji.

If they have a Google login, they can use it to access Bookji. If they are already signed into a Google site, then when they come to Bookji, they will automatically be signed in.

For Educators

For school educators, when you create their accounts in Bookji under My School > School Educators, you just need to be sure to specify their Google email address in the email address field.

Then, after visiting www.gobookji.com and clicking the 'Sign In' button on the homepage, on the next screen they can choose 'Sign in with Google', if they are not already signed in.

For Students

For students, you don't need to set up each student. Instead, provide them with their 8-digit class code, and have them visit www.gobokji.com and click the 'Sign In' button on the homepage.

On the next screen, have them click the 'Sign in with Google' button.

If they are not already signed into a Google application, they will be prompted by Google to sign in.

After that, Bookji will present the following dialog, prompting them to enter their class code, a username, and to pick an avatar.

Upon submitting, they will be logged in and a Bookji account will have been created for them, and they will have been added to the class associated with the class code.
